Since 1982, Peter Drabble has been working directly with Canadian, U.S., European and Asian firms to provide strategic market support, guidance, and trade and investment promotion for a wide range of advanced technology products and services, principally between North America and the rest of the world.  As a former Canadian Foreign Service Officer, Mr. Drabble served in Ottawa, Washington D.C., Tokyo and Osaka before founding WIBV as a consulting business in 1994. He is seasoned business development executive who has successfully capitalized on his own skills and knowledge, as well as those of his staff, to the benefit of clients and partners.

Global Venture Forum (GVF)

In 1995, WIBV was asked by the Osaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry to help create a unique business event called the Global Venture Forum.  From 1995 to 2006, WIBV served as its North American Secretariat, charged with the role of recruiting U.S. and Canadian firms to showcase products and technologies. GVF, officially recognized by the OECD, has been credited with helping hundreds of firms establish two-way trade and investment between North America and Japan.
